Andrea Linebaugh
Co-owner of The Studio and Art Bar. Andrea has been creating
since the time she could hold a crayon, scissors, and fabric. Her
Mother taught her, when she was in the 2nd grade, how to use a
sewing machine and how to make clothing that would fit people.
Since that moment, she has designed her own clothing, and
altered clothing from the stores. Andrea has created custom
costuming for stage shows from verbal descriptions, and has
even made the "Fire" costume for a local firewalker. Andrea
designs and creates her own clothing line. Each piece is unique, one of a kind, and
created without a pattern. She crochets, sews, felts, etc- creating gorgeous skirts, tops,
and more for children and adults! Andrea has invented 2 techniques to make fabulous
faerie wings- which she sells at over 11 Faerie Festivals on the East Coast and in the
Mid-West. She has appeared on HGTV's That's Clever in 2004 and 2005 making her
crocheted Faerie Wings and sculpting a whimsical Toadstool Table and Toadstools.
Andrea creates Shoes, Clothing, Scarves, Wraps, Ponchos, Purses, Costumes,
Costume Accessories, Fiber Cement Sculptures, and Fiber Wall Art. You'll find her work
on her website Andrea Linebaugh's Designs, at The Studio and Art Bar and at various
Festivals from May through October. See our events page to learn more.
Spreading her love of creativity, Andrea teaches her crafting skills to children and adults
through her Friday Afternoon Art Class. Each week there is a new craft or art form to
learn. Call for details 717-718-0907
At home in the beautiful forests of Eastern York County, Andrea creates in serenity,
while simultaneously being mother to 3 gorgeous girls. There is never a dull moment in
the Linebaugh household. Animals and humans coexist, mostly peacefully, indoors and
out!

Michele Strine
Co-owner of The Studio and Art Bar. Michele’s creative journey officially began 13 years
ago when she made her first mosaic project. She enjoyed the freedom of mosaics to
attach pieces in a free-flowing manner led only by her intuition. Michele participated in
two decorator show houses and taught mosaic workshops but longed for more. She
sought to translate her vision, skills and experience into a viable business. Her creative
path led her from a small, home-based business to a successful retail establishment
featuring the art and fine craft of more than 40 regional artisans. As co-owner of The
Studio and Art Bar, Michele shares her mission of making creative expression affordable
and accessible to the community.
Michele has expanded her craft to more complex undertakings such as in-home
installations of backsplashes and fireplace facades and fully functioning garden
fountains composed of teapots, cups and saucers. More recently, she has been utilizing
whatever supplies she can manage to get her hands on including paint, paper, polymer
clay, solder, and molding paste. The result has been an influx of new creations including
ceramic tile coasters, mixed media creations on canvas, wood boxes and plaques,
soldered glass ornaments, quirky gift items including microscope slide and domino
necklaces. Making the transition from functional to “just for the fun of it” has been very
freeing and invigorating. Michele openly admits that when she entered the field she was
unsure of whether or not she even qualified as an “artist.” Today, she promotes the
broadest and most inclusive definition of artist. Now she experiments, plays and
continues to develop a style uniquely her own.
