Girl Scout Badges
In the Art Bar, Girls Scouts can earn Brownie Try-its and Junior Badges. I'm sure we
can help Cadets and Seniors with projects as well. This is just a sampling of the
Badges we can help a troop to earn. We can work with your troop to earn other
Badges or Try-its. We have gone on location as well for extremely large groups.

Art To Wear!

Junior Badges
Art in the Home
- Dream Room- Arrange pictures in a shoebox to create your "Dream Room"(bring pics from
magazines or cut them out here) - Dried Gourd Decoration- Etch a design into a gourd!
- Home Arts: Home Business- Visit 2 shops that sell things for the home.
- Design Your Own Room- Make different budgeted plans for your room.
- Holiday Decor- Make a Holiday Decoration.
- Accent in Beauty- Make Something for your Home.
Art in 3D
- Mold It- Mold Clay into something decorative or useful.
- All Around the Town- Look for 3D Art in the communtity, find at least 5 examples.
- Art That's Me- Create a piece of art that expresses your heritage.(bring color copies of
photos- not from your computer printer!! Also bring any items that you'd like to include- could
be traditional fabric, jewelry, charms,dried plants, beads, stones, etc.) - Negatives are Positives- Make a sculpture that includes negative spaces.
- It's Mobile- Find out about Mobiles and make one.
- Wire It!- Create a 3D Design with wire and other materials.
Art To Wear!
- Fashion Friendship- Friendship Anklets!
- Decorate Your Wears- Decorate Plain Clothes. (everyone should bring a pair of jeans)
- Old is New Again- Make new jewelry from old jewelry!
- Sell Fashion- Visit someone who makes Art to Wear!
- Show Your Flair- Alter Clothing you already have. (everyone should bring a T-shirt with
something on it- not a fitted Tee or Baby Tee) - Fashion Add-ons- Crochet a scarf!(we will likely only be starting the scarf)
