Artist Dennis Humphreys will paint virtually anything but does portraits
wonderfully. Dennis grew up attending private school with an attention deficit
disorder and labeled as a 'troublemaker.' Both in college and after, Dennis
has channeled his passion into art as a commercial artist at advertising
agencies and in the computer industry.
Artist, Paris Wyatt Llanso, works primarily with oil paints, sculpting with thick
applications of rich, vibrant color on canvas - pieces are reminiscent of early
impressionalists, with a distinctive Paris touch. Paris was born in Talara, Peru
and grew up on the Front Range of Colorado; she has studied art since her
childhood and was considered a child prodigy.
Chris Johannesen grew up on Long Island before moving to York in the early
90's to attend York College. While there, he studied several artforms, but
gravitated toward the medium of stone sculpture. He feels that there is
something inherently sensual in the tactile nature of the stone and feels
complimented when someone in a gallery just cannot help but reach out to
touch one of his pieces of work.
