Check out these fun Events taking place at The Studio- and some that we'll be attending!
Don't forget to pre-register! It's very important. We use the preregistrations to purchase the appropriate
amount of supplies. In the event that there are no preregistrations, class is cancelled.

JUNE:
06/17/2009: Preschool Art Class 10am, Please call to preregister 717-718-0907. We'll be playing
with Polymer Clay
06/20/2009: Henna Tattoos with Andrea from 10 to 2. Henna is a natural plant based product
that stains the skin for 1 - 2 weeks. Tattoos range from $5 to $30 for more intricate designs.
For something more intricate, such as a whole hand or foot, please call for a time

making paper.
JULY:
07/01/2009: Preschool Art Class: 10am, please call to preregister 717-718-0907. We'll be making
recycled art.
07/03/2009: First Friday, Downtown York - open 5 to 9pm
07/13 through 17/2009, Summer Art Camp! Enrollment open until class is full. Cost is $100 per
child with sibling discounts available. All Ages welcome. Children and teens will make a
minimum of 5 projects. Call 717-718-0907 to Enroll!
AUGUST:
08/07/2009: First Friday, Downtown York - open 5 to 9pm
08/07/2009: Opening Reception for our next Art Exhibit

08/29/2009: Yorkfest, 10am until 5pm: All along the Rail Trail from the Colonial Court House to
Princess Street you'll find a juried art and fine craft show featuring over 100 Artists from across
the country, food, and activities. On Market Street, York Arts will be holding it's annual
Chalkwalk competition. Around the Corner on Beaver Street you'll find the children's activities.
Beaver Street will be closed for a children's wonderland featuring free crafts by Waldorf School
and several of the businesses. Here at the Studio, we'll have free spin art, free carp windsock
painting, and T shirt painting for $6. The Art Bar will also be open for other crafts. Andrea will be
offering Henna Tattoos for a fee.
08/30/2009: Yorkfest continued! 10am until 4pm: Same as above except some of the children's
crafts and activities will no longer be available. The Studio and Art Bar WILL still be offering free
crafts, crafts for a fee, henna tattoos, and more!
